These waters hold game fish like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Gray Triggerfish, Pompano, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Lobster, Horse-eye Jack, and more. You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea!
Your boat for the day is a 41' Hydra-Sports center console with capacity for 15 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Pieter will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
