If you're ready to enjoy fishing in San Jose del Cabo, book a trip with Reel Adventure Sport Fishing. Captain Luis will be your guide, offering their professional experience.
These waters are home to Amberjack, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Cubera Snapper, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Broomtail Grouper and more if conditions allow. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Reel Adventure Sport Fishing is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll be welcome aboard a 23' Sea Fox center console with capacity for 3 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

Anytime I see all 5 star reviews, I always question if it's too good to be true. Especially because they still had a slot open on short notice. Great communication by Tommy from the start and he listened to what I was looking for on a first fishing trip in the ocean with my 18 year old kid. We had a blast! Luis and Martin were awesome and really helped show my kid what he needed to do. I think we pulled 7 big Jack while fishing for tuna, but eventually we got 3 nice tuna, 2 Dorado and a tiger fish. I will be feeling every bit of it tomorrow! Thanks for a perfect end to our trip to Cabo, fishing in Minnesota will never be the same after that.

Can't say enough about how great of an experience this was for us. We asked for a tuna expedition and that is exactly what we given. Caught 4 beauties, one of them was a 50lb tuna. It didn't even fit in the wheelbarrow.
Top Of the line Stubborn Rods were super nice to use, and the boat had all the bells and whistles like radar and sonar.
We had food and drinks for our 27 mile trip out to the spot that Tommy had planned for us.
Our Captain Luis was fantastic and make the trip extremely comfortable.
I am a Reel Adventure lifer from now on.

From the minute I booked, the owner Tommy was an excellent communicator and when there was a glitch in the bookings he went above and beyond to accommodate us. The live bait was very small the day of the trip but thats no fault of theirs. We didn't get a bunch of fish but it wasn't due to a lack of effort from Luis & Martin. They did put me on a large mahi that we were able to get in the boat so I consider the trip a success. I would definitely use Reel Adventure again and I've fished out of San Jose quite a few times now.

Fishing with Tommy

Just got back from a fishing trip with Reel Adventure and it was honestly such a blast. We went out with Captain Tommy, who is super laid back, funny, and really knows his stuff about sport fishing. Right from the start he made everyone feel comfortable, even the people who had never held a fishing pole before.
The morning ride out was awesome, calm water, great weather, and it didn't take long before we were hooking up. We ended up catching dorado which was pretty cool.
The boat was clean, the vibes were good, and Tommy and his crew helped with everything like baiting hooks, giving tips, taking pics, you name it. The whole day just felt easy and fun.
If you're in the area and want a super chill day on the water, definitely go out with Captain Tommy. We had an awesome time and I'd 100% do it again.
