Daliken Sportfishing – Gaviota 26' 

Good gracious, what an experience! Been fishing regularly for 40+yrs, and today ranked among the very best ever. And given literally hundreds of outings, that's not something I'd say lightly. Mostly tuna, and a few skipjacks. The father/son captains are masters of the water, so the three of us were yelling "fish on" so dang often that our biceps are still throbbing hours later. Wasn't unusual to have two lines taught, or even three at once. What's interesting is that although there were a number of boats in the immediate area, we didn't see many other bent rods. There were a few here and there, but not at all like we had going on. Ended up maxing out our license limit of 5/person, so we'll be eating sashimi, ceviche and tuna steaks the rest of the week. Also picking up 50lbs of vacuum packed and frozen tuna loin on the way to the airport. Final point -- we had such an absolute blast that we booked another outing for Fri, this time going for a marlin, which has eluded me after a dozen tries over the years. Cautiously optimistic for the same luck as this morning, but either way this is now our official charter every time we're back.

Met at the marina extrance by the manager and giuded to our vessel by the 1st mate, what an exceptional start. The fishing started slow but the crew stuck to the plan and we got on the fish! We caught a bunch of smaller less desirable fish but those came in handy later to distract the sharks from our Tuna and Sailfish!! I have fished the Americas over and will be booking a trip with this crew next time im back in Cabo.

We usually go to Cabo and their marina to charter a fishing trip. Usually we catch minimal fish and it's pricey. This time we chartered Daliken out of San Jose marina and our captain was Reuban (sp?). Right away we knew it was going to be a very good day. The captain got us on Snapper, Grouper, there was some fish that was good for cervichi and makarel. Then at the end, we hooked a Moneteray!! The thing jumped 20 feet in the air and we chased it for an hour. We got to bring it to the surface for a good look at it, before it turned over and snapped the line. It was incredible as we all celebrated for that fantastic experience. 14 fish in 4 hours was amazing and it was affordable. Thank you to Felipe and our Captain Reuban, we will be back!!

I was picked up on time per my arrangements with the company. Everything was as agreed to, we were fishing by 6am. The boat is smaller but big enough to get the job done. Captain didn’t speak great English but he knows the area and put us on fish. There’s a small bathroom for the lady’s and a cooler for beers if you don’t have your own. One thing to note is there’s no fish box so if you want your catch on ice you’ll have to bring a game bag or large cooler. This is typical of the smaller boats in Mexico. Would definitely recommend and I would book them again myself.

Felipe and Carlos Francisco are great. They know what they’re doing and created a great experience for us. Caught a bunch of rooster fish and some needle fish. No tuna or marlin today but we had great action nonetheless. Our 26ft boat was well kept and handled the wind and waves easily. Carlos especially was great ensuring we had solid hooksets before handing over the pole to fight them fishes.

We booked with Jamie and had Jeulius as the captain. After losing one first thing in the morning we hammered 2 beautiful striped marlin one around 175lbs and the other well over 200lbs. Absolute amazing crew and people, these guys are top notch 100% recommend booking with Daliken. We can’t wait to go again.
