You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. John operates a 26' Pathfinder center console that holds up to 4 passengers, or 24' Privateer that holds 6 passengers with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. John will provide rods and reels and bait.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

What a morning we had !! Our trip was just after a storm that stirred things up, even the fish. In spite of that, Capt John found us a place where we caught some fish. (I caught the biggest one!!) Capt John was incredibly helpful in keeping our lines baited and in the water. Also, If you should have a mobility issue, this is the charter to pick. I enjoy when things I do are first-class. Capt John and his charter easily earned that title.

Thank you for the kind words, you and your family are great, you are welcome anytime.
John is a great captain. I have fished all over the world and would 100% go fishing with him again very knowledgeable. Put us on the fish was very patient with myself. My wife and my daughter we love the trip had some bad weather had to reschedule, but he was very flexible with what we wanted to do and helped out tremendously.. at the end of the trip we wanted to keep some fish to take back to the Airbnb. He filleted them for us, explained to us how to cook them and they ended up being great, overall top notch guide.. thank you so much for making this trip so memorable for myself and my daughter and my wife.

you guys were great to have aboard, lets donit again soon.
My dad and son went on this trip. They had some weather, but were still able to get alot of bites and quite a few fish. My son was excited to catch a s grouper. The captain was knowledgeable and knew all the great spots. They loved their experience and we will book again next time we are here! Future guests should expect a good time. This is a fun experience for the whole family.

thank yiu for yhe review. lets do it again soon.
The guys Brian and seadub. Were very attentive didn't mind fact that every time they turned around someone needed bait... mostly me. They even got as excited as we did when we caught something good. Which helped since none of us knew any of the fish 😆 deft recommend for first timers since they were so ok with several of us being clueless.

you guys were the best! thank you!
This trip was made for my husband, grandson and my daughter's boyfriend. Loved that it was only them and not a lager group. John and his son "bent over backwards ",per my husband, to ensure they caught fish. They really enjoyed the trip and would recommend to everyone. Hope to return again someday 😊 Thanks again John.

it was fun! you guys are great. lets do it again.
