Land based shark fishing - Sarasota

Here, you'll have access to inshore, nearshore, and offshore waters, including a few hidden honey holes that only the locals know about.

The name of the game around here is heavy tackle fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. You can also do a bit of spinning, bottom fishing, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Jeremy will provide rods and reels and live bait.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Lemon Shark, Sandbar Shark, Tiger Shark, and whatever else takes the bait.

Note that your guide practices catch-and-release fishing, so won't be taking any fish home with you after the trip. Jeremy can take groups as large as 7 on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry.

Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and suitable footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock, rain or shine.

Jeremy will have drinks for you, and if you wish to bring your own simply ask. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring the whole family along and pack any snacks or extra clothing they need.
