Slackem Charters
Pelagic fishing is our specialty, targeting species such as Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna.
We welcome everyone from seasoned anglers to those seeking their first offshore adventure. Our experienced and professional crew will adapt to your needs, whether that means assisting you or teaching you along the way.
You will be fishing aboard a fully equipped 38' sport fishing boat that can accommodate up to 10 guests. The vessel features outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. For your comfort and convenience, there is air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, and a toilet on board.
All necessary fishing equipment is provided, including rods, reels, tackle, harnesses, and lures.
Families looking to make a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Feel free to bring their personal life vests, but if needed, we also have child-sized life vests available on board.
A First Mate will be on board to help ensure your trip runs smoothly.
It is always wise to bring hats, sunscreen (preferably non-spray), and sunglasses. Although sodas, water, and ice will be provided, feel free to bring your own drinks of choice. Alcohol is allowed in moderation; however, please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Being at sea, surrounded by our beautiful waters, is a true Cayman tradition.

Captain Jon Arch is one of Cayman’s premier fishermen, with a deep-rooted maritime heritage running through his veins. His father was a merchant mariner and engineer who sailed the globe, while his grandfather and grand-uncle owned Arch Brothers, a Cayman shipyard best known for building the S.S. Goldfield, a turtle schooner that was later used to transport passengers and cargo between the Cayman Islands and Florida. Captain Jon has been fishing Cayman’s waters since childhood and has also delivered vessels throughout the USA and the Caribbean. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the sea make his knowledge of navigation and passenger safety second to none.
