Fast, private and fully crewed: reef and deep-sea fishing in Grand Cayman.
Mojito Majic is a 38' Intrepid 377 center console, fully refit in 2021 and powered by triple Suzuki 300 hp engines. At 60 mph she's one of the fastest charter boats on the island. Grand Cayman's drop-off is only about a quarter-mile from shore, so you're over deep water within minutes and spend your time fishing, not travelling.
The whole boat is yours. You get up to 10 guests and 4 rods in the water at once, with Captain Alex and his crew running everything. Rods, tackle, live bait and licences are all handled. Beginners and kids are welcome: the crew will bait the hooks, unhook the fish and teach as they go. Experienced anglers get a captain who knows Cayman's currents, banks and seasons.
What you can catch
- Deep sea: wahoo (best Nov–Mar), tuna (best Mar–Jun), plus mahi-mahi, blue marlin and barracuda year-round
- Reef: yellowtail and other snapper, jacks, blue runner and barracuda, in calm, shallow water that's great for families
Make it your own. Mix fishing with a swim at Stingray City, snorkelling at Coral Gardens or a stop at Starfish Point, all on the same trip. Just ask.
On board: a shaded console, plenty of seating, transom door and dual swim platforms, plus a cabin with a full-size berth, galley and a head with a shower. Water, soda, fruit and light snacks are included. You're welcome to bring your own drinks, or ask us to arrange catering.
Your catch: you keep what you catch (within Cayman regulations), and we'll clean and fillet it for you. Catch-and-release is encouraged for billfish, and we follow all Department of Environment size and bag limits.

Alex and Hunter showed us a great time out on the water. They clearly communicated how the windy conditions would affect our trip, explained our options, and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves while keeping us safe. We didnt catch any fish, which was a bummer, but they shared about Caymanian culture and history, taught us how to scout for birds (the best fishermen!), and introduced us to their friend Stumpy the stingray. They worked hard to find us some fish, but they just werent biting for us. The boat was beautiful and well equipped and the team was great - we’d definitely go again.
Capt. Alex and Hunter worked hard to ensure we had a great time. it would have been nice to hook some larger fish but thats why its called fishing. We caught some black fin tunas and even stopped for some snorkeling where we brought home our limit on counch. Highly recommend the mojito magic!

Beautiful boat with a great crew. The Captain was very knowledgeable and told us lots of information about the island. The First Mate worked very hard and kept us baited and fishing. We had a great day.
Alex was a fantastic captain. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My kids didn't have to bait a hook or pull off a fish. They were right on top of it! It was a great time!
