First, Sam was great to work with to get us to the right spot. Me, my sister, my Mom and my Dad did a shared 6 person, 6-hour afternoon Snapper trip.  Sam kept us up to date, gave us great directions and it was super easy to park right at the boat. She even greeted us on arrival and took our pictures!

Second, the marina and the boat were super clean and the boat ran really smooth.

Third, Captain Steve and First Mate Daryl were just amazing! Captain Steve kept us moving so we’re always on the fish, while Daryl kept us fully baited and in the water pulling them out! We caught our limit in “keeper” Red Snapper (except one was bit in half by a shark on the way up). We also caught black snapper, grouper and triggerfish (which we couldn’t keep because they were out of season), Scamp and Beeliners. We didn’t dilly dally around if no one was getting a bite or if we were only catching small ones - we were on to the next spot. It was action packed the entire time we were out! Daryl had so much knowledge of the area and fishing history and made the whole afternoon fun!

Finally, I can’t say enough good things about Reel Deel Charters. We’ve fished all over Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean and this was one of our most fun days out. And our arms are sore which is always a good sign! I would definitely recommend fishing with them while in Panama City. We feel like we have found a hidden gem away from the more populated Beach Marinas and can’t wait to come back!

This was the first charter for our kids and it did not disappoint. We all caught a few fish and it was a nice boat ride too. The weather didn’t allow for us to go into the gulf, but we were still able to go out into the bay. The captain and first mate were great, answering all of the questions we asked about our fish, the boat and even told us about a few of the houses we saw on the bay. With the weather being a little questionable, we had plenty of communication about what to expect and other options to have a good trip. We definitely recommend Reel Deal Charters!

We had an amazing time fishing on this trip!! We had a girls trip for spring break and added this in to our vacation at the last minute! They accepted the trip so quickly and provided top notch fishing! We ended up with 38 Spanish Mackerel that we kept (threw back several!). We had two 10 year old’s with us, and they did a great job keeping them engaged in conversation and helping them reel in the fish. This was an amazing trip and we will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!!!

Lot of experience between Mike and Darrel the first mate. They put us on fish right away and we got our limit of red snapper then changed us over to other fish to finish the trip and caught a bunch more. We all had a blast!

The waters were rough & the dolphins went after our fish when we were reeling in but the crew (Captain Ryan & Deral) were great! Sam reached out to us a few days ahead of time to give us all the info we needed & to answer any questions.
