Step aboard a local charter in Holmes Beach and spend the day exploring the inshore waters and nearshore Gulf with AMI Go Fishing. This trip is built for fun, flexibility, and real Florida action—perfect for families, first-timers, and anglers who just want to enjoy a solid day on the water.

Every trip is different, but depending on the conditions you may be battling Snook in the shallows, drifting for Spotted Seatrout and Redfish, bottom fishing for Grouper and Snapper, or even hooking into Sharks that put up an unforgettable fight. Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Sheepshead, and other local favorites are always in the mix.

Your captain adjusts the game plan in real time, using local knowledge and a mix of techniques like spinning, trolling, jigging, drifting, and bottom fishing to stay on the fish as conditions change.

You'll be fishing from a 21' Grady-White center-console designed for comfort and performance, with space for up to 6 guests. The boat is fully outfitted with quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures—no experience or extra gear required.

Families are welcome, kids included. Let the captain know ahead of time if you need a child-size life vest. Light snacks and drinks are onboard, and you're welcome to bring your own beverages. Alcohol is allowed in moderation (no glass bottles or hard liquor).

Your fishing license is covered, so there's nothing to worry about besides enjoying the ride. Some species may be catch-and-release depending on regulations, and your captain will guide you through it all.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a sense of adventure.

We didn't want to leave the water

3 Hour Trip – Fun Fishing - 1:00 PM on January 2, 2026

We had the best time! I have been on fishing charters before with shoulder to shoulder people leaving little room for movement and little attention from guides. Not only was Captain Gunner quick to help when needed, but he joined in and added to our joking around. Our trip wasn't just about catching (I won the contest for who kept bait on the hook longest lol) we laughed, we relaxed, we kissed a few fish, we saw dolphin and enjoyed a beautiful day. We will definitely be booking with Captain Gunner when we visit AMI next - hopefully for longer than just 3 hours.

Captain Gunner was awesome!

3 Hour Trip – Fun Fishing - 9:00 AM on February 17, 2026 • 3 adults • 3 children

We only caught a few fish, but Captain Gunner still made the trip fun and entertaining. we were able to follow some dolphins and watch them do some cool tricks. Captain Gunner took us to a few different fishing spots and told us some history of the areas around us. We will be back again next year and Captain Gunner will be our man!

Bad Weather - Fantastic Guide!

3 Hour Trip – Fun Fishing - 11:00 AM on February 24, 2026 • 3 adults

Gunner worked really hard to put us on fish on a cold day when they just weren't biting. He took us offshore - while the few other boats that were out were staying inshore. We ended up with some thanks to his above and beyond perseverance. Highly recommend - we will use him again next year.

More Than a Fishing Trip, A Memory Made

We had such a great day with AMI Go Fishing! The captain was knowledgeable, patient, and made the trip so much fun for my son and me. We caught fish and even stopped at a beautiful sandbar to explore. It was more than just a fishing trip, it was an unforgettable day on the water. Highly recommend!

3 Hour Trip – Fun Fishing on January 15, 2026

Omgoodness!!!! My first ocean fishing trip. It was fantastic. Captain Gunner made it better than I could have imagined. I got to see dolphins and I caught my first fish. Captain Gunner is outgoing and friendly. He made sure we had a great experience. We will definitely use him again next time we are in Florida.
