With a large boat that comfortably accommodates up to 15 anglers, they provide memorable trips for small and large groups alike.
The November Rain is a 43' Lowell boat, fully restored in 2014. Powered by an 800 HP engine, it reaches the fishing spots with plenty of time to spare for you to wet your lines and hone your skills. The boat has superior fishfinding and navigational electronics by Simrad and Northstar, and it features a head (marine toilet) as well as a covered cabin and large deck area.
Both beginners and experienced anglers are welcome aboard the November Rain, and everyone on board will be supplied with quality fishing equipment by Penn to give them the best chance of landing their dream fish. The crew will be happy to clean and fillet any fish that you wish to take home and taste.
These are very fish-rich waters, so you'll always find something to bite. Whether you want to fish inshore for Striped Bass, Fluke, and Seabass, or to travel offshore for big game such as Tuna and Sharks, the experienced crew will do all they can to help you reel in a big one. All trips include the use of the finest tackle, bait, ice, and a courteous and fun crew.

Everyone caught fish and had a fantastic time! The fact that they had a charter leaving at 10:30 AM and coming back at 3:30 PM was absolutely perfect and was a huge reason why I picked them. I would highly recommend going out with them for anyone whether it be a corporate team retreat or a family outing or just fun with friends.

Full Day Trip – Offshore (Shark) on September 1, 2022 • 2 adultsMy husband and I have done a few charters while on vacations and this was by far our favorite. Captain Steve and his mate Billy made sure our trip was a great one. Obviously when you go fishing(especially off shore) there are no guarantees in catching but they did everything they could to make our trip great. We were lucky enough to catch a hammerhead, brown and tiger shark while out with them! Even if we didn’t catch, the boat was amazingly clean and the communication with them when booking and prior to the trip was incredibly helpful. As for the actual fishing, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when reeling in the fish. Could not recommend them more and will definitely be back!

Half Day Trip - Inshore (AM) on May 26, 2022 • 2 adultsJust WOW! Capt. Steve and our first mate Billy were top notch. Billy kept us busy and went above and beyond to ensure a non-stop action. Capt. Steve is charismatic, personable and makes everyone comfortable around him. The boat is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We caught between 25 and 30 fish and released most of them because of the regulations, and our request to catch and release. The biggest fish was over 40 pounds heavy! It was a memorable experience we’ll never forget. Josh and I highly recommend November Rain Charters with Capt. Steve.

Half Day Trip – Inshore (PM) on August 2, 2021 • 11 adultsIf you are lucky enough to book the November Rain, you are in for a great day of fishing and fun. Capts. Steve and Jill are true gems and First Mate Bill is salt of the earth (or sea, as it were). All of them very welcoming, knowledgeable and just good people. The whole operation is first rate. Not other way to put it. We first chartered the November Rain in the beginning of June and went for Striped Bass right off the Light House. We had such a great day that we booked their very next availability the next morning. That next availability happened to be this past Monday (like I said…there is a reason they are in such high demand!). This time around, Capt. Steve suggested a longer trip to the coast off of Block Island. Took a while to get there, but once there - the action was non stop Sea Bass fishing! We honestly could keep up. We caught way more than we could ever eat. Anyway, if you are looking for a top notch vessel and team…look no further than November Rain. Our family of 11 (adults and teens) had the best time. Can’t wait to go out again!

Steve and Jill have been fishing Montauk for 25 years, first starting out a 28' BHM charter boat (the first November Rain). After that they graduated to a 35' Young Brothers and now have a custom built 43' Lowell, a multi-passenger vessel on which we can comfortably carry up to 20 people.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
