Whether you’re after a day of family fun, a serious trophy hunt, or improving your saltwater skills with over 25 years charter experience, Captain Bob delivers safe, productive trips with a friendly, knowledgeable touch.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Bob also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks!
Capt. Bob runs a 30' Young Brothers Downeast lobster pilot house with space for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included and catching it is part of the fun.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our party of four really enjoyed fishing with Captain Bob…he’s a great host. The fishing was a bit slow (conditions were difficult), but Captain Bob made our trip special by taking us for some sightseeing and into Newburyport. We enjoyed our time on the water…would recommend the trip to anyone looking for an a good time and friendly host.
The Captain was Awesome and Very Knowledgeable. We caught Fish. Fish On! 😃
