RAB Fishing invites you to experience the stunning waters of Bocas Del Toro. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Rab is prepared to put you on fish.
You're likely to go after Great Barracuda, Lobster, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Black Grouper, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Nurse Shark, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Tarpon, and more, depending on the season. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Trips with RAB Fishing are fun for all ages, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. Rab operates a 21' Runabout that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with RAB Fishing!
