Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, Tripletail, Sheepshead, and whatever else is biting. You can expect to do some spinning, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Ryan also offers fly fishing.
Any Redfish caught on these trips will be released. If you are looking to keep fish let Capt. Ryan know and you can target Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead or Tripletail.
You'll be welcome aboard a 18' Chittum Challenger 2.0 flats boat with room for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Ryan will supply rods and reels for you.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Capt. Ryan was born and raised in Greenwood, SC. He spent his summers in Charleston going to camp at The Citadel starting at age 9. He moved to Charleston in 1998 when he attended The Citadel in College, and he has remained here ever since. The captain has spent his entire childhood fishing salt water and ponds and streams. He loves it all – fly fishing, spin rods, big conventional reels, bait casters, and more. He has crossed every fish off his list in South Carolina and now he enjoys helping people cross the same species off their lists!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
