Please contact captain before booking to find out exactly where you'll be fishing.
If you're ready to experience fishing on the Columbia River and its tributaries, look no further than Miller's Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jim is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. For these species, you're likely to troll using light or heavy tackle.
Trips with Miller's Sportfishing are great for kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You'll be dropping lines from a 26' Alumaweld aluminum fishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Miller's Sportfishing!

I grew up in the heart of Steelhead and Salmon country in the Pacific Northwest. What started out as a hobby in my younger years has grown into a love of being on the water. I welcome all fishing levels from beginner to seasoned professional. I believe we should all help each other to become better anglers. I'm happy to answer all questions and give you the advice so you can become a better angler on your own.
