Miller’s Sportfishing – Seattle
Please contact captain before booking to know exactly where you'll be fishing.
Make an adventure out of your next trip in Seattle and go fishing with Miller's Sportfishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Jim, bringing aboard their local experience.
These waters are known for Sturgeon, Sockeye Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Chinook Salmon, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be casting lines from a 26' Alumaweld aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Jim has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I grew up in the heart of Steelhead and Salmon country in the Pacific Northwest. What started out as a hobby in my younger years has grown into a love of being on the water. I welcome all fishing levels from beginner to seasoned professional. I believe we should all help each other to become better anglers. I'm happy to answer all questions and give you the advice so you can become a better angler on your own.
