If you've ever dreamed of fighting a true ocean predator off the beach while also finding someone thats serious and driven with passion for the sport, this is your chance! I have spent the majority of my life fishing on these beaches and know the local shark fishery very well.
While with the crew and I, you may encounter a wide range of species including the legendary Great White shark. You'll pursue these powerful predators using custom heavy-duty shark tackle designed for serious battles, including Tiagra 130 reels, our own line and leaders, and fresh massive baits weighing up to 40 pounds. Every setup is built to handle all of the ocean's toughest apex predators. When people say they can take out baits in 7ft waves in stormy windy conditions, they're talking about me.
I have successfully landed two 1000+ lbs Great White Sharks in a day with my friends on my free time. I love catching sharks for families and am also a family friendly outfitters, no matter the age. Safety is always a priority for the clients and the sharks.
All fishing licenses, shark permits, rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included also with a case of water that is provided for all trips. I can bring your group up to 10 chairs so make sure you speak with me beforehand for how many are needed for your trip.

i cannot thank and recommend Panhandle Pursuit more highly. Ricardo is absolutely awesome! From his knowledge and experience, to the way he interacted with my three kids- answering unending questions, sharing stories, and making us feel like family. His wife took amazing photos and video for us. It was just the trip of a lifetime! We left with memories we will never forget and I cannot say thank you enough. My family and I traveled to Destin for our first time together and chose Ricardo as our guide to help us with our very first ever shark fishing experience. He was very social, friendly, knowledgeable and overall very helpful making the entire experience comfortable and we really had a great time. He has a huge passion for shark fishing and you can definitely tell. He brought all the bait, poles, and gear that you’d need and had it completely set up when we arrived. Ricardo had 5 different poles set up and used bait such as sheep head fish and stingrays to catch a great variety of sharks. Ricardo also had chairs set up as well making it easier on everyone and for comfort while we stayed at the beach during our 5 hour experience. We were able to catch a Bull shark and a Blacktip shark during our visit. Ricardo will show you how to do the entire process but will also do it for you if needed. Everyone helped one another throughout the entire experience with no stress and no worries he will make certain that you and your family stay safe and have fun! I highly recommend booking with him and trusting him as your guide. He is most definitely in great shape and can handle these sharks with no issues. We were extremely impressed and we will be back again one day!

Even though we didn’t catch a shark, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ricardo is a true professional who worked hard from start to finish, constantly changing tactics and doing everything possible to put us on fish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the trip enjoyable the entire time. Fishing is never guaranteed, but having a guide who genuinely gives 100% makes all the difference. We did the 5 hour shark fish and had the best time!! We caught a small Atlantic Sharpfish and a Tiger Shark. Definitely book with Ricardo if you want a chance to catch a shark. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
