Malé has a fish with your name on it, so let Sea Hunter help you catch it!
These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Longtail Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Swordfish, Sailfish, Red Grouper, Amberjack, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Shibah also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing and bowfishing.
Sea Hunter welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks – luckily, Capt. Shibah will have some on board!
You'll be casting lines from a 25' Sportfishing with space for 8 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
Sea Hunter will make it easy for you to go fishing in Malé. So, how about booking that trip?
