If you’re ready to try fishing in Hulhumale, book a trip with Knight At Sea. Captain Hussain will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of sportfishing experience.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Wahoo, Longbill Spearfish, Giant Trevally, Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, African Pompano Jack, Yellowfin Tuna, and who knows what else! On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.

You’ll be dropping lines from a 27’ Center console with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board, depending on the trip package.
