Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be fishing aboard a 31' Boston Whaler Sportfish that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our son has been into fishing lately so we decided to do a family outing on Lake Michigan. It was a thrilling experience as we caught 14 fish in 4 hours! Ron and Nick really know their game and were helpful guiding us and answering many questions from our curious teenagers. We managed to catch king salmon, coho salmon, lake trout and rainbow trout. The largest one was a 15lb lake trout! The gorgeous sky with sun setting over the lake as we were heading back to harbor was an extra bonus. We are going to freeze our catch an enjoy the next few meals- from smoked salmon to blackened trout fish tacos. Thank you!!

Captain Ron and John are amazing! They did everything they could to make sure that we were able to catch fish. They are super knowledgeable and taught us so much as we trolled. We caught the biggest trout I'd ever seen and several steelheads. My family had a wonderful time and a great fishing experience. Thank you so much Eyeronick crew!! So glad I booked with them!!

We had a fantastic morning on the Eyeronic. Everyone caught multiple fish including Kings, Coho, Steelhead and Lake Trout with some real lunkers in the mix. Captain and crew were well organized, fun and know their stuff. Boat is in great shape and was comfortable for six. Thanks Captain Ron and Nick!

Captain Ron & Dave made the fishing fun and exciting.Boat was beautiful and clean! My grandson is 12 and caught 6 cohoe & 1 king his mom 4 cohoe and I grandma caught 3. Dave cleaned and filet the salmon on the boat on our way in.so awesome to have all that amazing salmon to eat.The best I have ever eaten. Book a charter with Eyeronic Sportfishing you will love it.

Captain Ron and his first mate Logan were excellent. We wanted to specifically target salmon and they got us on fish and we limited out. They both are extremely knowledgeable, hard working and personable. i highly recommend them if you are wanting to have a great time fishing!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
