If you're ready to go fishing in Nassau, book a trip with Bahama Pro Fishing Tours. Your guide for the day is Captain Arthur, offering their professional experience.
Caribbean Queen Snapper, Snowy Grouper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Albacore Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Grunt, Scup (Porgy), Amberjack, African Pompano Jack, and more could be biting, depending on conditions.
For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 30' Center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Capt. Arthur has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We brought our 9, 8, and 5 year old boys along for a morning fishing trip. Captain Arthur and Arnoldo were so helpful and patient with the kids. They put us on good fish quickly that the boys were able to reel in. As soon as they said the word snorkeling, the boys were ready to put on their fins. They cleaned our fish and dropped us at a fun restaurant that prepared them. Great experience all around!
