In the heart of the Atlantic Ocean, the Bahamas are perfectly-located to get you fishing, so Born Free Fishing Charters are in just the right place. With quick access to the open waters, and even trips to the inshore bays that attract a range of exciting fish, they promise an unforgettable fishing experience in the most amazing crystal clear waters.
A professional fishing outfit, the fleet is the result of the hard work of a pioneer of Bahamas fishing – Captain Phillip Pinder. Since 1978, he’s built his fishing empire and has now grown across the country to provide fun and fulfilling fishing trips, along with his nephew, Captain Nicholas.
Up to 4 guests are welcome aboard the 31’ Bertram offshore sportfishing vessel. A true giant of the seas, it was built in 1976 and is still going strong after restoration in 2016. It boasts all the latest amenities in the air-conditioned cabin, along with a bunk, toilet, and covered deck, for your comfort. Bring some drinks and snacks and make yourself at home!
As far as fishing is concerned, you couldn’t wish for a better boat. The GPS and fishfinder will get you to the sweet spots, while the outriggers will help you troll. Climb up to the flybridge to see for yourself where the birds are feeding, and settle int0o the fighting chair once you’ve hooked that bite.
Wherever you go, you’re in for a treat, with trips out of Nassau offering up everything you could imagine. Hop aboard an inshore charter and target Kingfish, Hogfish, and a variety of both Grouper and Snapper. Meanwhile, an offshore adventure will see you put your strength to the test against Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, and many more.
With a cleaning and filleting service at the end of your trip, there’s nothing left for you to do but settle in and enjoy what promises to be the fishing trip of a lifetime. Come aboard Born Free Fishing Charters and get your fill of fishing!

We started late but the crew sure made up for it. We caught plenty of fish, a couple of monsters. Doesn't get any better!

The deck mate was great and worked his tail off but the rest of the day was WORST trip ever. I've been on several charters and this one was by far the worst. I took the family and my oldest son being a cancer survivor want to go offshore as one of his dream trips. This dream was shattered. It seemed as if the Captain was only worried about catching Barracuda for his friends or to sell once back at the dock. I told the mate we didn't want them and he took up the rigs we were trolling in the shallow waters to catch the CUDA's with, and the Capt. made him put them back out. Once we landing a few yellow tail snapper the Capt. trolled the desert for over 2 hours and no strikes at all. he would zig zag back and forth trying to make me think he was actually trying to locate structure when there wasn't any for miles. I booked an 8 hour trip and by 5 hours It became a joke. I told the captain to head for the dock I was done. Once asked him to clean the fish he seemed irritated and it showed in his body language. I normally don't say much but this was an expensive boat ride. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH SITTING PRETTY Capt. John...
