Ready to catch some fish in Coco? That's what Outdoors Adventures is here for! With Captain Ezequiel at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Skipjack, Barracuda, Needlefish, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Sailfish, and who knows what else! On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep their stamina going!
Capt. Ezequiel runs a 27' Mako 254 that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Outdoors Adventures!
