If you're ready to love fishing in Le Morne, we've got you covered with Lodyseeadventure. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jean Maxy is prepared to put you on fish.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting European Barracuda, Great Barracuda, Skipjack, Black Marlin, Golden Dorado, Sailfish, Australian Salmon, Mutton Snapper, Red Emperor Snapper, Bigeye Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, and more if conditions are right.
You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Jean Maxy also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Lodyseeadventure is a kid-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your excursion begins aboard a 25' Sportfishing with capacity for 8 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
If there's more you'd like to know about fishing with Lodyseeadventure, feel free to send Capt. Jean Maxy a message down below.
