At first our young captain Sebastian and his crew mate Bryce brought us to a place where the boat kept hitting a tree or two. The fishing in that spot caught us some snook and some other small fish. Then, we went to the "ROCKS" and hit the jackpot! Sebastian and Bryce turned the dial up 10 turns and POW!!!!! About 40 plus fish later within an hour, it was over. The fish were waving the white flag. We were catching a fish every 20 seconds. Never seen anything like this. Even our Captain Sebastian and Bryce were killing it while wearing our lucky American flag cowboy hat. What a great phucking time we had. We needed help catching these snappers so we asked Bryce and Sebastian to help us out. These two are not only great Captains and helpers but phenomenal fisherman. They said our crewmate AME and the American flag cowboy hat were their inspiration. When we were done, Bryce and Sebastian cleaned and fileted our fish, cooked it on a fire while Ame sprayed lemon juice on the legal fish we caught. Scrumptious!!!!
Along with my two brothers in law and my 5 year old nephew, we had a fantastic nearshore fishing trip with Captain Ron. He was an awesome guide and put us right on the fish. We caught a great variety, including sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, grouper, a bonnethead shark, and plenty of smaller fish, plus we even hooked a few massive Goliath groupers. We were having such a good time that we asked to add a couple of hours onto our trip, and Captain Ron was happy to accommodate us. Afterward, we took the fish next door to Snug Harbor to have them cooked up for dinner. We had the shark blackened—which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended—and everything else fried to perfection. It was a great day from start to finish, and we will definitely book with Captain Ron again!
Captain Ron gave us an unforgettable day on the water in Fort Myers. He knew exactly where to take us, kept the energy high the whole trip, and made sure everyone stayed involved — it was a truly hands-on fishing experience from start to finish. The variety of fish we caught was impressive, and the boat was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. You could tell a lot of pride goes into the operation. If you’re looking for a great charter in Fort Myers, look no further. Highly recommend!
Kyle was a great guide. He tried his best to get us on the fish that my husband was looking for (even though it was at the end of the season). They were there but unfortunately he wasn't the lucky one on board. My kiddo however was the lucky one as he was able to land several nice snapper and a couple of lady fish. This was a great all round trip and Kyle was great!!!
