He is a friendly and knowledgeable local guide who loves sharing the best of the area with guests from around the world. His experience began at a young age working on his familyffds charter boat, Five Chags. He has fished the entire East Coast, from Cape Cod to the Florida Keys, as well as the Gulf of Mexico.
He holds a degree in marine biology and has been published in Saltwater Sportsman and Sport Fishing magazine, and was a regular contributor to The New England Fisherman. He also holds a 100-ton Coast Guard credential.
Depending on the season, you could target Tuna (Yellowfin)
Tuna (Bluefin), Bluefish (Tailor), Flounder, Bass (Striped), Seabass (Black)
etc. in waters surrounding the Rhode Island.

I have been on over 25 fishing charters and I have to say Captain Mitch made this one of the most rewarding trips I have ever gone on. Not just because we caught fish but because of his vast experience and personality. Looking forward to going out again soon. Highly recommended!
I took my two sons, niece and nephew out for a half day trip. Captain Mitch showed them how to bait and stow their rods and more importantly how to reel in the fish! He brought us to some great spots and we were bringing them in all day. We had a wonderful time, made some great memories and caught the most delicious fish in Block Island Sound. We will definitely be heading back out with him.
I had more fun than the kids. As a father, grandfather, and great grandfather I love these family trips. Thanks for choosing us!
We had a great time out on the water with Captain Mitch. Plenty of Black Sea bass to take home and everyone got to fight some blue fish as well. Highly recommend!

Capt. Mitch runs trips out of Narragansett aboard 26' Fortier Cuddy cabin. The crew will demonstrate techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, or something unique to the area. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
