Port Clinton has a fish with your name on it, so let Rio Rita Fishing Charters help you catch it!
Rio Rita is a fishing headboat that will take up to 20 people fishing. Each spot is reserved by paying per person. In order for us to take the boat out we must have at least 9 customers total. We will keep in touch with you if we are unable to take the trip. Be at the boat at least a 1/2 hour before departure.
Walleye, Yellow Perch, and more inhabit these waters. Depending on the time of year, you may find yourself light tackle fishing or jigging. You'll be casting lines from a 42' headboat that can carry up to 20 passengers.
Your Captains Sam or Cody, believe in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so go ahead and bring the whole family along (6yrs and older)! Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Rods and reels are not supplied for you but are available to rent for an extra cost. Live bait is included on the boat. You will need to bring tackle, and some will be available to purchase on the boat.
A First Mate may be available but is not required, however rest assured the captain will make sure everything is running smoothly. Your crew works hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it is necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group over 16yrs old. This information is available online.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Wouldn't you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality, with Rio Rita Fishing Charters.

being that its only 80 a person, We definitely felt like we got our moneys worth. 3 of us went for less than it would cost for one person to go on 99% of other local charters. Cody was very knowledgeable and willing to help and teach. the 1st spot we went to was a bust but by the second location we were landing fish with in 5 minutes. This charter may have not been as nice as others 5x the price. however i cant tell you that for sure because i cannot afford those prices. so if youre in the same boat (haha) definitely consider
We had a great experience! The Captain and First Mate had extreme patience and provided the best training for the new beginners. They took the fish off the hooks, provided bait and we had plenty of shade! I recommend them! They made sure everyone caught a fish! Great experience!
We had a good time and the captain was very helpful and friendly. We didn’t catch many fish but we tried. The other boats had a bad day as well
We had an amazing day of fishing. Captain put us on fish right away and we limited out. Very knowledgeable and great communicator. I highly recommend you contact Rio Rita for your next Lake Erie fishing adventure!

Thank you Mircea! Hope to see you back again.

Great Charter!!! Puts you on FISH!!!
