Green Bay Trophy Fishing
Sturgeon Bay has a fish with your name on it, so let Green Bay Trophy Fishing help you catch it! With Captain Lonney at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Chinook Salmon, Yellow Perch, and more are in the cards, depending on the time of year. On these trips, it’s common to troll and cast using light tackle.
Capt. Lonney welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Lonney welcomes you aboard a 24' Ranger dual console with capacity for up to 5 passengers, however 2-3 ppl is good too. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask Captain what fishing technique is best for the season of the year.
Captain will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Captain 20–25% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Overall a perfect trip. They already had a trip booked for the morning slot but hooked us up with Alec and what a treat. The boat and equipmet were state of the art and Captain Alex knew his stuff. We decided on trolling harnesses and after a grind the first half of the day we landed on a awesome school and caught some beautiful eyes! We had a triple at one point and the next pass was 6 fish in 10 minutes. I will definitely look Alex up next time we go and would highly recommend booking through them.

Thank you, Kevin. We appreciate you booking with our guide service-
This was a good trip with a good boat and knowledgeable Captain - Nate. It was good to be able to drift over some humps and reefs and dropshot and work a small swimbait. It was August 1, so the bite was not consistent since the fish are dispersed in deeper water, but that is what we kind of expected. We were able to move around the boat and try different stuff and picked up about 15 smallmouth. All of them were good size fish in the 3 lbs range +. We had one guy in our group who had never caught a smallmouth and he landed a 4.7 lb bass which he plans to get a mount replica made. It was definitely finesse fishing, which is challenging and enjoyable. Our captain loves to fish and we learned some tips from him on summer smallmouth. We are thinking about doing a winter whitefish ice fishing trip with this guide. Good time!
we had a great experience and everyone in our group caught fish. my 13 and 11 year old boys had a great time and Captain Nate kept us on the fish all morning! between the time we booked and the day lf our trip, we received regular updates and options as to what we wanted to fish for and what the best plan would be to make thd most out of our day.

Thanks Matt for leaving a great review. We appreciate it a lot! Thank you for your business and we hope to see you again
Nate was amazing! We had a great 4-hour trip with one shy of our limit of salmon. He was great at explaining the processes, the equipment, and helping us catch our fish! I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to book a trip.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review! Couldn’t be happier with Green Bay Trophy outfits Lonnie/Nate. Took us on late notice and with Nate as Captain with his complete professionalism, extreme knowledge of fishing, boating and is just a good human being.
