The Mayor Charters 

Make an adventure out of your next trip in Sebastian and go fishing with The Mayor Charters. Your guide for the day is Captain Bruce, so you'll benefit from their local experience.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Skipjack, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, and whatever else takes the bait.

During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You'll be casting lines from a 28' Cuddy cabin that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
