Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Skipjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, and whatever else takes the bait. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 28' Stamas cuddy cabin that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Bruce did a great job of getting us on fish and being patient with the members or our party that are newer to fishing. Later in the day the fishing slowed down and he worked hard to keep the bite going all the while keeping everyone engaged with storys about the area.
