AquaMan Sportfishing - Smack Down

28 years in business: If you're ready to experience fishing in Virginia Beach, we've got you covered with AquaMan Sportfishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Nolan can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Cobia, Bluefish (Tailor), Shark, Spadefish, Black Seabass and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
On these trips, you can expect to troll using light tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be dropping lines from a 46' fishing boat with space for up to 18 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Please bring a cooler with drinks, food and snacks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
