Great time on the water. Captin Rob and crew were great. Very kind and patient despite us being late due to an accident on the interstate that closed the highway. They still maximized our time. We trolled along the coast and caught a fair amount of Spanish Mackerel. Our catch was cleaned and we were able to enjoy fush fir dinner. The boat is very comfortable we had two in our group that got woozy and appreciated being able to take a break indoors. Would recommend!
Captain and first mate were great. Jack was the first mate. He pretty much ran. The show was younger captain son I believe very nice impersonal little bit quiet. I probably should’ve looked into the trip a little bit more before I booked it to realize that it was a trolling trip. My son was looking for a trip where we went out, parked a boat and kinda used the pools to catch fish but all in all we had a great trip and a great experience pots and fish boat was extremely clean and nice captain was pleasant. Gave us a good trip up and down the coast trolling oh and all was a positive. Good trip.
I am glad y’all had a good trip. However, I do not understand why such a negative review. It sounds like you misunderstood what type of trip it was….. but yet the trip was exactly as we advertise it and you had a good time but left behind a poor review anyway. I’m not sure I understand this.🤔
It was great weather and a good boat ride (5 of us). Rob warned us that it was a bit early with the waters around 50 degrees there might not be anything biting. Because the grandkids were looking forward to our trip from Michigan we decided to do it inspite of the unlikelyhood of catching anything. We did see several dolphins multiple times and spotted a couple/few game fish. Shipmate Glen setup the 5 lines and kept our attention as we searched for dinner! We learned a lot from Glen about the fishing, shoreline points of interest, and a myriad of maritime stories.
Couldn't have had asked for a better day. the boat was as advertised very clean. captain and first mate were exceptional. kept us on the fish and treated us like family. had great conversation with the first mate. he was very informational and we learned a lot.
Captain Greg and mate Bryan were great. A hurricane came by earlier in the week which wasn't ideal for fishing. We were warned that it probably wasn't going to be great. We decided to go out anyways. We all got to reel in multiple fish, just not all legal size. With two newbies, one being my 80 year old uncle who has cancer, and hasn't been on ship since his time in the Navy, we as a group chose to go out. He was excited about doing it and he actually caught the biggest fish. I would book with them again and recommend the boat to anyone.
