These waters are known for dolphin (Mahi Mahi), wahoo, yellowfin tuna, giant trevally, amberjack, bluefin trevally, rainbow runner, sailfish, and more. With any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some exciting catches.
On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so be sure to check whether the appropriate sizes are available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 13-foot kayak with room for up to four passengers. It comes equipped with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Tim will provide rods, reels, and lures for your trip.
You may need to purchase a local fishing license before your trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect before heading out.
Don’t forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
