These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Black Rockfish, Bonefish, Cero Mackerel, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Garfish, Goliath Grouper, Warsaw Grouper, Yellowfin Grouper, Grunt, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'

On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

If you're traveling with the family, youwill be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You'll be welcome aboard a 34' Downeast with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
