Make an adventure out of your next trip in Maamigili and go fishing with Leekan Sports Fishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Ahmed is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Wahoo, Sailfish, Dogtooth Tuna, Longtail Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Giant Trevally, Amberjack, Black Grouper, Green Jobfish, Rainbow Runner, Skipjack Tuna, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Capt. Ahmed is happy to have kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be casting lines from a 26' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Ahmed has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with Leekan sports fishing ?? is just a click aw
