You can expect to enjoy a variety of fishing techniques, including trolling, jigging, and possibly more specialised methods suited to the area.
Manu Charters Fiji welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come along and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if one is available onboard. Don’t forget to bring snacks to keep your energy levels up throughout the trip.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 31’ Sportfishing vessel with a capacity of up to 10 passengers. It has all the essentials needed for an unforgettable fishing adventure, including an onboard toilet for your convenience. The vessel is also wheelchair accessible.
Based out of Naisoso Marina, we offer pickups from Vuda Marina, Denarau Marina, and Wailoaloa.
We provide Shimano rods and reels, as well as a selection of lures.
There’s no need to purchase a fishing licence, just show up ready for an exciting day on the water! Please note that some fish may need to be released due to local regulations. Your captain will guide you through all requirements while you fish.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, and non-spray sunscreen. If you’d like to bring additional drinks, just ask. Alcohol is permitted in moderation, but please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Tropical fruit and water are included onboard, with the option of adding a packed lunch.

The early 6am start didn’t help. Unfortunately despite the efforts of the skipper who covered lots of sea miles the fish were not about Have to say the lack of fish is starting to be a regular occurrence here in Fiji through overfishing and long- lining and the charter costs continue to increase
We travelled for an hour in the boat and then trolled for two hours without a strike . We then bottom fished for an hour without catching anything then trolled again for an hour without a strike and then travelled back to port for an hour. The reels for trolling were big game fishing reels not sport fishing reels and then for bottom fishing they gave us plastic hand reels where the line would cut your fingers if you hooked a decent fish. The crew were not good with English so there was little conversation. They also charged us for snacks which were a packet of chips of which one of the crew ate more than we did. He also ate some of the food we brought with us No photos to load as we didn't catch anything Shane Trotter
