Very hot time of year, so make sure to wear sun cream and stay out of the sun. The jigging and casting is exciting but hard work on such a hot day. The trolling was great but we only got a few hits that got off. The fish we caught, Coronation trout, were the best I’ve tasted.

Antonio and Jimmy took us out on a 9-hour fishing trip. Fish were not hitting when we tried trolling and deep dropping. We moved on to bottom fishing and that was where we started catching red snappers, Emperor fish and Spanish mackerel. Food and drinks provided were excellent and we appreciate Antonio trying all methods of fishing to get on fish. Anybody out there who wants to fish need to get with Antonio. Will definitely go with Antonio next time we’re back in Fiji!!!

Antonius,s knowledge and skill as a skipper was amazing! His skill and ability to chase the yellow fin led to my first yellow!
Both made you feel welcome and the great lunch and cold drinks went down a treat.
The boat and gear was set up perfectly for what was a special day. Dolphins, amazing sights and the Fijian magic.

Fishing was tough today, not a lot of life or movement out there. The crew put in 💯 effort and honestly that’s what it’s all about. We’ve both caught a lot of fish in our lifetimes, and as we get older I find that I care about attitude and effort over catching a bunch of fish. Thank you for today Tony and Jimmy, we appreciate you. Thank you for sharing Fiji with us.

Amazing captains and good size boat for our fishing charter. Unfortunately the fish weren't biting and we only caught one blue treveally. We were disappointed after fishing for the full day, but the views of the reef and the charter itself was great.

A definite fishing excursion not to miss. Smaller vessel than some others out there but built for the fun of catching the big ones well off shore. Comfortable travelling, very “dry” boat and very tidy. Crew were great, nothing was a problem and they are very, very switched on in chasing those tel tale signs of where the fish were. More than happy to recommend the team, when we come back next time these guys are definitely on the visit list again.

Great day on the water with Tess and Maika! Consummate professionals, put us on fish despite the uncooperative weather - hard fighting blue trevali and emperor fish. They are both tremendous fishermen / outdoorsmen. The fishing vessel was spotless, roomy and fast. Fijian hospitality is unmatched! Thank you for a memorable time.

Can't recommend these guys enough. We did a 7 hour charter with Captain Ali and Wex. They worked hard all day and managed to put us onto a 150 - 200kg Marlin which we lost after a long fight. Still had a blast the whole day, the guys were great lads and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Captain Tes and Maika looked after us and we had a great trip. We did some popping, and caught live bait for bottom bashing. There was also time for snorkelling around the coral surrounding a sandbar. The boat is pristine and the crew were very attentive, spending their time getting my 9 year old onto fish, which made his day.

The day was great, Tony made the day fun and enjoyable. Never stopped trying to get us a catch. Variety of techniques from trolling to jigging and some deep sea. Experience of electric reels (this was different). Boat and gear was easy to use and upto dated. Plenty of food & drink (highly recommend the food) Differently go again when we're back in Fiji.

An awesome day out on the water, trawling inside and outside the of the reef from the channel to level with about Castaway. Could my first GT and it fought to the back of the boat, released and happy to tick that one off. Be back during Yellow Fin season, thanks for Fijian hospitality and a sensational memory.

We had a great day out with the team at Locals Offshore. The conditions on the day weren’t great and the fish were off the bite but the crew tried everything to get us on to fish. Tess and Maika worked hard for us but it just seemed to be one of those days. Would we use them again ? Absolutely. The Jack we did get made a beautiful meal. Great boat and great crew - thanks to Locals Offshore.

The guys Capt Ted and Maika were outstanding in service and local knowledge. We had a slow start but the guys tried there hearts out and we landed a 35+kg GT. This has been a dream fish and they made it come true. In addition to finding the fish we had three kids under 7, and the crew were fantastic. Many many thanks guys I would highly recommend to anyone seeking that fish of a lifetime.
