There's a fish with your name on it in Port O'Connor and C n T Salty Adventures will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Travis can tell you all about them.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Tripletail, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and who knows what else!
For these species, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.
Capt. Travis is happy to have kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks!
Your boat for the day is a 21' Bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with C n T Salty Adventures?

I grew up in Port O'Connor and have spent my life on the Texas coast. My family was in the bait business, and from an early age I was fortunate to learn from family, friends, and local captains who spent their lives on these waters. Growing up around the fishing industry gave me the opportunity to learn the local bays, seasonal patterns, and the techniques it takes to consistently stay on fish. Fishing has always been a way of life for me, and I enjoy sharing that knowledge and experience with clients while helping them make the most of their time on the water.
