As OG Sharkers with decades of Land Based shark fishing experience, David and Zach Crain specialize in catching large sharks and bull Redfish. Our top class equipment will give you a realistic chance of catching the biggest fish of your lifetime!
We will provide heavy tackle and will deploy several shark baits for you. Then you can sit back and relax, or you can fish for lighter tackle surf fish while you wait for your catch of a lifetime.
Fishing trips from Matagorda to Sabine Pass! These waters are known for Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Lemon Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Sandbar Shark, Redfish, Black Drum, Whiting, Stingray, Gaffstop Catfish, etc. catch, photo & release is highly encouraged but feel free to harvest legal fish you catch, except Hammerhead, Lemon or Tiger sharks.
Are you ready to give the whole family an experience that they will talk about for years? Kids are welcome, the beach is a great place to introduce kids to fishing. Any members of your group 17+ will need to buy a TP&W salt water license if they wish to fish. Non-fishing guests do not require a license.
Please bring extra clothes, snacks and whatever you want to drink. Otherwise, we will provide everything needed for enjoying the beach and being comfortable on the sand.
A 4x4 vehicle is not required unless you would like to fish some of the more remote and deserted areas of our beaches, which can greatly add to the experience. 2WD is fine also, your trip will be tailored to your needs. We make sure you get on and off the beach regardless of where we fish.
Crew gratuities are customary but entirely optional, based on how much you enjoy the experience.

We have spent an unforgettable fishing day with David and Zak setting us up for sharks and kept the lines later than planned in the water to get the most out of it. 3 big bull sharks. 1 black tip medium size and baby one, lot of baits caught and lot of series of fish caught in the meantime to keep us busy. Heavily recommend this trip if you want to have a great experience fishing around Galveston, and make sure you ready to reel in the lines as hell cause the sharks ain’t close to the beach :) was sporty!

Had a heck of time with David Crain at Sharkaholics this last Saturday. My dad and I went surf fishing with David after getting several recommendations. I’ve been salt water fishing for about 6 years and never have I used both my redfish tags and caught my daily shark till fishing with David. I highly recommend David. He has many years of knowledge and experience with surf fishing and is just a good guy to catch fish with and have a good time.

Exciting, fun filled, overnight experience! If you’re looking for an experienced, laidback, knowledgeable shark fishing guide David is your man! Our entire family settled in on the beach in style. David took the time involving our daughters in every aspect of the outing! Tip-top operation from start to finish. The setup and equipment are state of the art. Definitely recommend hitting David up if you’re interested in a hands on shark fishing adventure!

My girlfriend and I had an excellent fishing trip at Sargent Beach with David. He has the knowledge and equipment to help you land the fish of a lifetime. We caught 6 blacktip and bull sharks as well as 4 bull reds in one day of fishing. I would recommend to fish with this outfit and prepare for long lasting memories being made for you and your group.
