Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Skipjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Wahoo, African Pompano Jack, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year.
For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Lalo Brito can also show you kite fishing.
Capt. Lalo believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available.
You'll be fishing aboard a 29' center console with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes equipped with outriggers and all the essentials for a successful day on the water. There's also a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Lalo has rods and reels for you, along with lures and live bait.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
