Welcome aboard MURCO Charters with Capt. Reid in Gulf Shores, Alabama! I’m a USCG-licensed captain with a passion for fishing and spending time on the water. I grew up around the Gulf Coast and have spent years learning the local waters, from inshore marshes and bays to nearshore and offshore fishing grounds.
Whether you’re an experienced angler looking for your next big catch or it’s your first time fishing, I’ll make sure you have a fun, laid-back experience on the water. I enjoy teaching new anglers while also giving seasoned fishermen the opportunity to chase quality fish and try different techniques. Every trip is tailored around the conditions, what’s biting, and what you’re looking to get out of your day.
We fish aboard a 2020 Blazer Bay 2700 Hybrid, one of the largest and most capable bay boats in its class, equipped with modern Simrad electronics and quality Daiwa and Shimano tackle. From redfish and speckled trout to sheepshead, snapper and other Gulf Coast species, we’ll work hard to put you on fish and make your time on the water one you’ll remember. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
