You’ll be fishing off of a 30’ Northern Boat Works offshore sportfisher. This boat was designed for the choppiest and most extreme conditions, making her the perfect offshore fishing vessel. She’s powered by twin 80 HP Yamaha engines and equipped with state-of-the-art navigational electronics and fishing tackle.

The boat also comes with outriggers, downriggers, tuna tubes, a livewell, fighting chair, and plenty of space for 8 guests. You’ll have a toilet, a multimedia system, and lots of room to move around, relax, and enjoy the incredible ride!

The waters surrounding the island of Mauritius are brimming with incredible game fish. You’ll have the chance to target the likes of Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Skipjack. You’ll even be able to go after the ultimate prize fish – Marlin. All 3 types of Marlin are available here and they provide some of the most extreme action!

A trip of a lifetime!

This was my second trip out with Captain Kevin and his crew and I took along a friend whom had previously been on a fishing trip not boked through Fishing booker and had caught nothing! Needless to say the expertise of Captain Kevin ensured that there were some fish ticked off our bucket lists with a great haul of Dorado who put up a good fight! This really topped off our time in Mauritius and would highly reccomend booking Coeur De Lion via fishing booker they really are the best and their expertise in knowing where the fish are is fantastic. Thanks again for another great trip and if I am visiting Mauritius again I know who I will definetely be booking a fishing trip with!

Fishing with Captain Kevin

Once in a lifetime trip with Captain Kevin. The trip started at 04:45 when Captain Kevin picked me up from my hotel. We arrived at his boat just before 05:00. We boarded the boat and the trio began, a short ride out to the first spot where we started jigging and trawling for tuna with the assistance of his crew. Not long after starting a few skipjack tuna were caught. This was within an hour of the trip starting. We then spent some time trawling and caught more skipjack tuna, later on a we caught a couple of fellow fin tuna. By early morning Captain Kevin informed myself we were now trying for mahi mahi, we pushed out into deeper water approx 1hr. From that point Captain Kevin located groups of sea birds to which he determined the best point to cast a line. We repeated this process over the next few hours catching 3 mahi mahi, of which this was my first. A truly once in a lifetime experience, the crew under the supervision of Captain Kevin were faultless in assisting myself and knowledge of the waters. If you're after big game fishing, Captain Kevin is certainly the guy to go to. I would 100% recommend.

Diesen Skipper kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir wurden früh vom Chef persönlich vom Hotel abgeholt und zum Boot gebracht. Dort ging es auch gleich los und schon beim ersten stop zogen wir ein paar Gelbflossenthunfische raus. Die Tour ging erfolgreich weiter. Es kamen dann noch ein paar Bonitos dazu und zum Schluss haben zwei Mahi Mahi uns ganz schön Kraft gekostet. Aber die Mühe hat sich gelohnt. Der Chef hat uns dann samt einem schönen Thunfisch im Hotel abgeliefert und am Abend gab es gegrillten Thunfisch im Hotel. Für uns war es ein perfektes Erlebnis. Das kann man nur so weiter empfehlen, denn es war ein sehr schöner Tag , bei dem Preis und Leistung gestimmt haben. Also wenn angeltour dann bei cour de lion

Amazing Fishing Day

We had an awesome day with Captain Kevin and his Crew. They are real professionals and know exactly where to find the fish. We startet early morning during sunrise and caught some smaller Tuna and Bonito. Later we went further out looking for some Dorado. After short time we had the first strike and have been able to land a good size dorado after intense fight. During the day we caught even more Dorados. Totally satisfied and highly recommend this trip.
