These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Striped Marlin, White Seabass, Halibut, Yellowtail Amberjack, California Sheephead, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Pacific Barracuda, Lingcod, Bonito, Bluefin Tuna, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.

On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Capt. Axel operates a 70' Sportfishing with room for 25 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
