Karyn’s Sportfishing
Excited to cast a line in Ensenada? Look no further than Karyn’s Sportfishing! Your guide for the day offers years of fishing experience throughout Baja California and Baja California Sur.
These waters are known for Lingcod, Rockfish, Yellowtail Amberjack, Skipjack Tuna, Skipjack, Bluefin Tuna, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Children over age 8 are welcome! Fishing is fun for the entire family! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, we two available, we will just need to verify the size and weight of the child. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip! We will provide some bottled water and can prepare a sashimi ceviche of your catch.
You'll be fishing aboard a brand new 26' Panga with a 200 hp Yamaha motor that holds up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Be sure to ask us about bringing your own equipment or renting rods and reels, as well as bait and lures as well.
We can clean your catch, however a 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or we can help you apply for a $15 fee. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. One bottle of water per person is included. Alcohol is allowed in moderation (avoid hard liquor…no glass bottles). Lunch can be provided, just reach out to learn more, especially if you have any dietary needs.
