Enjoy salmon and steelhead fishing on the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY, and the Black River in Dexter, NY. Trips are primarily conducted from an 18' Willie drift boat customized for your comfort, with a 16' AlumaWeld drift boat used during lower flows.
Salmon season runs from early September through the end of October, followed by steelhead season from late October through the end of April. Salmon are targeted using a variety of techniques, including fly fishing, plugging, float fishing, rowing, and casting spoons and lures at night. Steelhead are primarily targeted with float and plug fishing.
All you need to bring are waders, a NYS fishing license, and any snacks or drinks you’d like for the trip. Two-person trips are ideal, but groups of three can be accommodated when water levels allow.
