Take a ride with Captain Joel of Ana Banana Fishing Company in a warm and family oriented atmosphere, and you will learn not just about the fish you are catching, but you will also hear great stories from the many tournaments he has won and the huge number of good causes he supports and participates in.
Stepping aboard Captain Joel’s glamorous 45 ft classic Hatteras boat, you will be in for the fishing adventure of a lifetime. The boat was fully restored in 2014 in order to provide you with the very best fishing and cruising experience. Not only is it fitted with all the essentials for serious big game fishing, such as a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, and top of the range electronics, it also features an air conditioned interior with two staterooms and a bathroom, as well as Wi-Fi and a TV.
During your offshore adventure, you will be able to try reef fishing as well as trolling (depending on the length of your trip), with potential target species including many varieties of Snapper and Grouper, as well as Kingfish, Wahoo, Barracuda, Cobia, Mahi Mahi and Sailfish. On full day trips you could travel around 20 miles offshore, although the boat and captain are well prepared to go up to 50 miles out on longer trips.
You are welcome to take home any fish you catch - as long as they are legal to keep, of course - and the captain will even clean, fillet, and cook your catch at the end of the trip. All the equipment you need for a fun day on the water is provided, so all you need to bring is any snacks and drinks you would like to consume along the way.

I booked a trip for a 6 hour deep sea, shark adventure with the possibility of getting some fish while out there, we booked a 45 foot boat, to have a bathroom and some comfort as we brought our son who has CP and knew we would need these things, It was booked for 1395.00 and we had put 209.00 deposit. When we got to the meeting point the boat we went out on was a 24 foot open boat with no bathroom, we did question this and the Captain graciously offered to drop off some money because of the confusion, so we agree to go ahead and fish.(after all we were already there) The Captain and his family were very nice people, and I think he tried hard to give us a good fishing trip. The other confusing problem we ran into was when we went to pay, we had decided to to put it on a credit card, so as not to have to carry such large amounts of cash traveling, and we were told we had to have a pay pal account set up to pay for it by credit card. Well that could have been an even more embarrassisng situation had my brother in law not had the rest of the cash to cover us. When looking over the prices for what we booked and what we paid and what our hearts were set on, it was disappointing. We only ended up with about 3 hours on the water and had to go back to the Captains house for use of the bathroom (which we realize was very nice) Our trip cost us 1147.00 all together. If you look at the booking site a 24 foot boat for 6 hours and 5 people runs 892.00 So yes I have a hard time being happy with what we ended up with as was were super excited to have this adventure. I am not sure where the break down of communication happened but things were not as expected.

I chartered a half day shark fishing trip for my son and I as a graduation gift.
He would have been thrilled to catch just 1 shark, but Captains Joe and Robby put us on fish all day long.
6 sharks, 17 mackerel and 1 trout later we called the trip a huge success! We will definitely be back.
