Spend the day with Cristina Fishing Charter and see what's biting in Fiumicino!
Around here, fishing is popular for Bonito, Yellowmouth Barracuda, Carp, Dentex, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Atlantic Mackerel, European Seabass, and more if you come at the right time of year.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You'll be casting lines from a 29' Sportfishing that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Andrea will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board with additional charge.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Cristina Fishing Charter!
