Capt. Mark is an experienced captain who has been fishing these local waters for over 40 years. It's safe to say he knows a thing or two about casting a line in these waters! Whether you want to hook that East Coast favorite, Striped Bass.
You'll be fishing from a 35' Henriques Downeast, originally built in 1981 and restored in 2002 with some TLC. She's powered by a 350 HP Cummins engine with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots, making her a safe and powerful vessel. There's room on board for up to 6 guests.
This vessel features an enclosed heated cabin, so your trip will be enjoyable no matter whether you're taking the family out on a cloudy day, or are seeking some shade during the warm summer months. She truly is a boat for all seasons!
This charter's crew has so much knowledge of the local waters that it will be able to put you on great fish wherever you chose to go. On shorter trips, you'll be catching Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Black Seabass, and Weakfish.
The crew will provide rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait, lures, and a fishing license. They use the finest quality tackle and gear available to aid your fishing experience, so please be sure to use it with care! You'll have a first mate on service who works hard for a 20% tip. Cleaning and filleting is available upon request.

Other than one trip with my late uncle in 1999, I haven’t flounder fished in the back bays since my father passed in ‘96. As a tribute to what would’ve been my father‘s 90th birthday, my brother-in-law and I decided to charter a boat and try to catch a couple of flounder. We each took our two sons, and all I could say is that I wished my dad could’ve been there with us! We each had some action with catches, and my youngest caught a great keeper… His first flounder ever! Captain Mark and Matt were awesome! They both made sure we had everything we needed, and kept us engaged with stories and pointers. Both of them had great knowledge of the area and were happy to share tips with us to make sure our day was as action packed as it could’ve been. You have to remember that this is fishing, as some days are good and some days are not… Even though we didn’t go home with a cooler full of keepers, in my books this was a great day!

Captain Mark and Matt did a great job finding us fish. My kids (11, 10, and 7) had a really great time. Mark put us on the fish and Matt was a great first mate. The boat has so much fishing space it made spreading out and having room to fish really easy, even with three young anglers. Mark and Matt were entertaining and were happy to share their vast fishing knowledge. We will be back out with them as soon as we can.

Took our kids out for 6 hour bay fishing trip. Despite some unfavorable conditions, Captain Mark and Matt put us on the fish first drift. Action all trip and the kids now have a core memory. Great boat, even better people. Highly recommend!

Fair rates, great Captain, great fishing, stable vessel, lots of room. First Mate was second to none, took the time to explain to the kids about all we were doing, animals, birds, and creatures we encountered.

He has held a USCG Master Inland Captain's fishing licence for 30 years. Captain Mark loves to fish with anglers of all experiences - from kids to serious, hard core fishermen, and is proud of his crew who always provide a great experience for their guests.
