There’s a fish with your name on it in Brigantine and Retriever Fishing Charters will help you catch it!
Local species include Tautog, Striped Bass, Flounder, Black Seabass, Weakfish, Bluefish, Sheepshead, Cod, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Little Tunny, and more, depending on the time of year. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Connor also offers fly fishing trips too!
Retriever Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Capt. Connor welcomes you aboard a 20’ Maritime bay boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Connor will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
