If you’re looking to explore the world-famous waters of Islamorada, come aboard Dauntless Fishing Charters! You’ll have access to some of the area’s most renowned fisheries right at your fingertips. Captain Mark Gibson, the man behind this charter, warmly welcomes anglers of all ages and skill levels to join him – from families, to experienced fishermen, to military veterans.

Capt. Mark has plenty of knowledge when it comes to the species on offer here – he was over 30 years of backwater and inshore fishing experience under his belt! He knows where the fish will be biting and when and will guide you to the hotspots, as well as providing plenty of local knowledge and tips and tricks.

You’ll be casting off from your captain’s 22’ Ranger bay boat, which was built in 2019 with room for up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a single 150 HP Yamaha 4 Stroke engine with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. This speedy vessel is equipped with all the necessary safety equipment, a GPS, and a fishfinder.  She also has a wireless trolling motor, perfect for trolling these shallow waters without spooking the fish!

Islamorada is known for its flats, backcountry, reefs, and inshore fisheries, and Capt. Mark has extensive knowledge of all of them. He fishes out of the World Wide Sportsman, Bass Pro Shops, and can take you casting lines for Floridian favorites such as Redfish, Permit, Tarpon, Blacktip Shark, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Speckled Trout, Snook, Bull Shark, Yellowtail. Capt. Mark also offers special trips for military veterans – get in touch with him for more info.

Your trip includes top-quality fishing gear and a fishing license, so all you have to bring is a positive attitude and sunglasses. Come aboard Dauntless Fishing Charters and get ready to discover the magic of fishing these world-famous Floridian flats!
