Met Captian Mark with no issues and he told us the game plan. We caught something for dinner and I wanted to catch some “memories”…boy did we. My wife isn’t very experienced at all and he was so patient and family friendly.  We caught some snapper and trout and then moved locations and caught multiple sharks and jacks!  Even caught one 100 lb shark on a light setup that was so fun to fight. At one time I counted 8 sharks circling our boat. Such a cool experienced to see.  He cleaned all the fish for us when we returned to the dock and recommended a place to cook our catch for us and how to prepare all the fish.

We cannot thank Capt Mark enough for all of his work and knowledge. We will definitely recommend him and be back next year to use him again. Thank you for an amazing day. From John and Susan.

Great trip with a great captain. Captain Mark exceeded our expectations and gave my friends and I a memorable fishing excursion. Caught plenty of keepers and got to fight some monster salt water fish. I would recommend getting the 3/4 to full day if you can because time will fly having fun!

We have been fishing all over the Carribean and Florida and this trip topped it all.  Captain Mark was amazing.  My 13 year old son really wanted to catch and fight big fish.  We wanted to also fish for other fish as well for eating and sport.  Captain Mark delivered on both.  Captain Mark made sure to find where the fish were and we moved as soon as fish were not hitting.  My son caught two sharks (lemon and bull). The first shark hit in less than 2 minutes.  Second one also quick. He was a happy camper.  We caught a ton of fish including snook, sea trout, red fish, jack crevelles, snappers and probably some I forgot!  It was constant fish on. 
Captain Mark was so great with all of us.  Teaching us exactly how to and where to cast.  He was especially great with my son teaching him how to land the sharks as well as everything else.  The boat was also immaculate.  We cannot wait to go again with Captain Mark!!

Captain Mark was amazing.  He’s definitely a professional at what he does. I took my 14 year old nephew. I expressed to Mark that my main goal was for my nephew to catch a large shark. No matter how long it took. Captain Mark had him hooked up with a monster in 10 minutes flat. And several more after that. Which allowed us to also move on other species after that. He was very knowledgeable on where and when to fish the different areas.  Everytime time either mother nature or the bite threw us a curveball. Mark had an answer. He kept us on the fish all day. He was also very patient with a couple novice fisherman.  I would absolutely book with him again.

Captain Mark is a great guy! He is experienced and knowledgeable. He is an excellent fishing guide because of his experience…bait and lure choice and presentation, locations, his “special fishing spots.” The Sportsman boat was clean and well equipped. We went 30 miles into Florida Bay and got lots of Spanish mackerel which hit hard and fought like crazy. Interesting because Mark was about the fourth boat in the area and then within an hour, about a dozen additional boats showed up. So he moved us to different spots. We hooked three large bull sharks and brought one boatside. It was a very enjoyable trip for my wife and I. Mark filleted the mackerel nicely. If you want to fish with a very knowledgeable captain and have success, choose Dauntless Charters! Mark truly enjoys guiding and he is happy that “the water is my office.”
