Welcome aboard our Charter Boat Huntress! Deep sea fishing has been a way of life in Destin for a long time.
Known as the World's Luckiest Fishing Village, your own Destin deep sea adventure will begin at AJ's Seafood and Oyster House. AJ's is located about a 1/2 mile east of the Destin bridge, right in the heart of the Emerald Coast.
The Huntress is a 40' Infinity Fiberglass Sport Fisherman, powered by Twin (430 Hp) Cummins diesel engines, U.S. Coast Guard approved for up to 6 passengers. The vessel features an air-conditioned cabin, a clean restroom, and of course - a friendly crew! Above all, Huntress is fast, and well equipped with all the latest in marine electronics. We use S&M custom-built rods, and Penn & Shimano reels exclusively.
We specialize in 4 to 12-hour deep sea charters, including bottom fishing for the likes of Red Snapper and Grouper, Amberjack and Triggerfish, sight fishing for Cobia and Tarpon (depending on the season), and trolling for Dorado, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna and Bonito. All dead bait, tackle, ice and fishing licenses are provided, all you need to do is bring whatever you want to eat and drink.
Captain Mike Graef has been fishing the offshore waters of Destin since 1989, and he and First Mate Carter Philips are bound to make your deep sea fishing experience a truly memorable one. Need more proof? If there's one fishing event Destin is known for, it's the Destin Fishing Rodeo. Our very own captain Mike Graef was named 2011 Destin Fishing Rodeo Captain of the Year 2011 and 2015.

We have many memorable trips fishing the Gulf. Captain Mike and First Mate Carter are the epitome of professionalism. From the moment you step on the boat until you leave, you are treated first class! My daughter Mo has grown up fishing with Captain Mike and I can tell you there is no other Captain that I would trust with her. The Huntress is about family and lifelong friendships. After all, isn’t that what fishing is all about? I cannot speak highly enough of this Charter. Yes, there are other boats to choose from but if you want the best, then look no further! The Huntress is well-equipped with state of the art marine electronics, live well, clean restroom and air conditioned cabin. It is conveniently located at AJ's Seafood dock. We have fished for Triggerfish, Snapper, Amberjack, Grouper in season and have landed our limit of Blackfin tuna during the Rodeo. Thanks Capt.Mike and Carter for the memories of a lifetime - It's what keeps us coming back!

The BEST!
8 Hour Trip on September 5, 2014I fished with Capt. Mike and mate Groovy for the first time and it won't be the last time, I'm 100% sure. These guys really know what they are doing and how to treat customers. Also they are great fishermen since we were on fish all day long.

We had a great time. Targeted tuna, unfortunately the sharks were there but we had a great time fishing the ones that hit.
