Fishing aboard Captain Bruce Goins’ 19 ft drift boat, you will find yourself thrown back into a bygone world, with no noisy outboard chugging away behind you, scaring off the fish. She is the perfect vessel for quietly negotiating the areas winding waters, while still providing a stable platform for up to 3 anglers. She is powered by a small and silent Minn Kota trolling motor and by the river itself, making for a truly timeless fishing experience, and comes equipped with everything you will need for your day on the water, including a choice of live bait and lures.
Goins Outdoor Adventures is dedicated to providing a quality fishing experience, and so provides top-of-the-line G Loomis rods and Shimano reels to give you the best chance of bringing in a prize specimen. You will be set up with light spinning rods and light line for pulling in Steelhead, which average 8-14 pounds with 20 pound beasts caught every year. For Salmon fishing Captain Bruce recommends slightly heavier rods, with fish weighing in at 15-25 pounds on average, and brutes hitting close to the 50 pound mark making appearances more often than you would think!
